Supervision
My supervision approach is informed by psychodynamic principles including the importance of having a clear therapeutic structure, listening closely, attuning to the in-the-moment process and establishing respectful working relationships. More importantly, I believe supervision should provide a space for people to develop their own authentic way of being in the room. Through honest reflection, strengths can be noticed, challenging experiences can be learnt from and emotional responses to the work can be used to better understand the client. In turn, supervision begins to be something that both develops and sustains people’s work.
I am a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor and I can support psychologists seeking endorsement in clinical psychology.
